ABCA delivers books to Mozambique!

For the first time ABCA has delivered books to Mozambique!

Isac and Katrina Condesse from Australia were instrumental in setting up a pre-school in Beira Mozambique called Nova Vida - New Life. There is no other pre school in the area.

Isac contacted ABCA in 2022 asking for assistance to help establish a library and so the conversation began of how to deliver books to Beira.

Lauren and Andrea worked tirelessly on the delivery logistics and say: “The books went on a long, circuitous route to get there: Melbourne to Durban (by ship), Durban to Johannesburg (by truck), Johannesburg to Midrand (by Uber), Midrand to Nelspruit (by air), Nelspruit to Chimoio in Mozambique (by Mercy Air), and from Chimoio to Beira (by air)! Thank you to everyone involved in getting the books through each stage of the journey.

Isac said they are very happy with the quality and quantity of books. We look forward to receiving more feedback and photos once the books have been distributed.”
