Children and Youth Centre in Alexandra

Fingertips of Africa delivered ABCA books to the Children and Youth Centre in Alexandra (a township in Johannesburg). This centre is a place for kids to go after school so that they do not stay on the streets. The volunteers help the kids with their homework and give them a meal. (This meal is often the only food the child has to eat that day.) The centre run personal development sessions where they teach the kids about values and abstinence, and also teach dance, drama and poetry. We are happy to see the kids enjoying their ABCA books!
