Emily Junior School, Murewa district in Zimbabwe

Emily Junior School is located in Murewa district in Zimbabwe. Most people in this community live under the poverty line. The community is made up of peasant farmers, and their only source of income is farming and fishing. Sadly, most people in the community don't believe in education. There are thousands of vulnerable kids who don’t go to school because the parents cannot afford to pay the school fees, and the school is too far away. There is a shortage of schools in the area and Emily Junior is the only school located in the community. The kids walk long distances to get to school, and a lot of young kids get sick and drop out.

ABCA distributed books to Emily Junior School through Pastor Alex Dewa, and we are happy to be part of the effort to help the school and the students.
