St Peter Claver Primary School

St Peter Claver Primary School in Soweto had a library with very old and outdated books. ABCA were happy to supply books for the refurbished school library, especially as there were only twenty books that could be salvaged from the old library!

Eleanor Hough, a retired school principal who set up the library for the school, said: “The books are amazing! I really want the good people in Australia to know that their efforts are really appreciated and that the books will be used properly.” 
A few Grade 7 girls helped with the library and were beyond excited. The book the girls were so intrigued by, was about Aussie animals!
