Winners of the 2022 Wandiika Literacy Initiative
We're pleased to announce the winners of the Wandiika Prize 2021-2022 edition. The five stories have been carefully selected from a shortlist of twelve.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will have their stories developed and published as books.
We will reach out to the 4th and 5th place winners in case an opportunity to publish their stories becomes available.
Prizes and certificates for our winners and shortlisted writers shall be delivered (details to be communicated in due course).
Congratulations to these young authors, and kudos to the rest of the 152 school children from different regions of Uganda who participated.
Special appreciation to our judges and independent readers for their time and dedication.
